Calibration

When is Calibration Required? When the sensor or object being calibrated is relied on as the source of truth to de-risking the consequences of the sensor or object not being accurate. Many displays of sensors have a variable for calibration offset.

Calibration Offset

Calibration Requires an Asset ID, Part Number of the asset being Calibrated, the parent calibration object’s Serial Number and Part Number, the Unit of Calibration and the Calibration requirements such as set the offset until the value is Plus or Minus, One.

DefineTheBox tracks Calibrations against Serial Numbers which can be assigned to Account Assets

Calibration data is stored under the Quality Management System of your database, often a company starts their database to serve customers. Calibration and Serial Number with Product type gives greater tracking within Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
